The China Machine Tool & Tool Industry Association visited a group of 6 people and went to Moscow on May 24-28, 2015 to visit the 5-day 2015 International Machine Tool Show (METALLOOBRABOTKA2015), visited the Russian Machine Tool Association, and also at the exhibition. Interacted and communicated with many Chinese exhibitors and foreign exhibitors. The exhibition occupied 5 pavilions. The total exhibition area is about 38,000 square meters, and 940 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions participate in the exhibition, of which 50% are Russian exhibitors. The total number of visitors to the show was approximately 26,000. The exhibition categories are relatively complete, covering all kinds of products in the machine tool industry. Five-axis machine tools, compound machine tools, CNC laser cutting machines, CNC turret punching machines, bending machines, pipe bending machines and other exhibits have become prominent highlights.
The Russian machine tool industry is a barometer of its manufacturing industry. At present, the Russian economy is sluggish and the financial problems are more serious. The Russian government has taken many measures to support the machine tool industry, supporting the development of machine tool manufacturing with projects in defense and other pillar industries, and expanding the domestic market for machine tool products.
At the show, the products of world-renowned companies occupy the high-end market in Russia, and the products of South Korea and Taiwan occupy the middle market. Due to the sanctions imposed on Russia by the United States, Britain and the European Union, the high-end products of many countries are not allowed to be exported to Russia, which brings opportunities for enterprises producing high-end products in China.
