When changing the firefighting agent, a foam injection simulation test shall be conducted on the fire extinguishing system to check whether the working conditions of the fire pump, the proportioning device and the foam generator are normal and reliable, and if any abnormality should be promptly overhauled.
6. When replacing failed firefighting agents, the device should be thoroughly cleaned. The method of cleaning the capsules is:
(1) First drain off the remaining foam liquid in the capsule, then open the water chamber drain valve 9, then turn on the compressed air (pressure 0.02-0.1 MPa) from the capsule deflation valve 7, open the lower drain valve 6 of the can, and put the foam in the capsule The residual liquid is blown away.
(2) Close the valve 6, open the valve 8, fill the capsule with clean water from the filling port 5 and clean the inner surface of the capsule, then open the valve 6, connect the compressed air from the valve 7 to squeeze out the water, and continue to blow the capsule with compressed air. In ten minutes, thoroughly dry the water in the capsule and re-fill the foam extinguishing agent.
Note: If the screw is rusty, it must be replaced. The rust is so severe that it must be broken with a serrated saw. If it is in the foam tank next to the tank, do not use a chainsaw to prevent accidents!
