Honda builds Japan's first 3D printed electric car

Last week, Honda and Japan's Kabuku, a 3D printing company, joined hands to launch a custom-built electric cargo vehicle whose body is made using 3D printing technology. This car was custom-made for Toshimaya, a Japanese Kamakura candy company. The road to Kamakura is very narrow. The shop specializes in customizing this car to ship shortcakes and is the first Japanese 3D-printed car. The effect is also obvious.

The 3D-printed car was completed by Honda in collaboration with Kabuku, a 3D printing company, for two months. Using the Honda's Variable Design Platform design concept, the body and frame were designed separately so that its components can be easily used in the manufacture of other vehicles. on. Unlike ordinary vehicles, the 3D printer has only one main driver's seat, measuring 2,495 × 1,280 × 1,545 mm and weighs only 600kg.

Its body adopts 3D printing technology, which can not be mass-produced, but can be rapidly produced according to customer needs. The car was exhibited at the CEATEC and CEATEC exhibitions in Japan last week.
