Third, the design and calculation of the mold

1. Anti-extrusion die structure

The anti-extrusion die used by our factory is shown in Figure 3. As can be seen from the figure, the female die 24 is positioned with the die pad 15 and the lower die plate 12. The female die and the female presser ring 18 are tapered and are tightly connected to the lower die plate by a hexagonal screw 19.

The ejector guide sleeve 16 and the ejector rod 17 constitute an ejector mechanism for ejecting the extrusion member from the concave mold under the action of the air cushion. A part of the ejector guide sleeve extends out of the lower stencil, mainly for the purpose of solving the insufficient closing height of the press. When the hot extrusion die is mounted on the press, it will protrude into the hole of the press table.
