"China Machine Tool" Newsletter Recently, China Machine Tool Industry Association issued a "Notice on Continued Top Ten Enterprise Assessment Activities" to all branches and related enterprises. The main contents of the notice are as follows:
Since 2001, the Association has carried out the evaluation of the top ten enterprises for five consecutive years. It has received wide acclaim in the society and has a great response. It has increased the visibility of participating companies and promoted the competitiveness of the market.
The reporting and assessment of the top ten enterprises in 2006 is about to begin. According to the provisions of the “Top Ten Enterprise Assessment Management Measuresâ€, the relevant matters are notified as follows:
1. The evaluation of the four top ten enterprises of “CNC Production Valueâ€, “Product Sales Revenueâ€, “Export Foreign Exchange†and “Comprehensive Economic Benefit†was initially selected based on the statistics reported by the company from January to December 2006.
According to the principle of voluntary declaration, enterprises that want to participate in the assessment of the four top ten enterprises must use the “Major economic indicators of machine tool industry enterprises†and “machine tools†from January to December of 2006 before January 15, 2007. The three statements of the main products of the industry, such as production, sales and storage, and the export of enterprise products of the machine tool industry, are reported to the Marketing Department of the Association in a timely manner.
2. The evaluation of “Top Ten Enterprises with Careful Brand Activities†shall be subject to voluntary declaration by the enterprise, recommended by the branch, and solicited opinions from the industry quality testing center and direct users, which shall be produced by relevant experts.
Enterprises wishing to participate in the assessment must submit the application materials of the enterprise in duplicate to the electronic version together with the electronic version to the secretariat of the branch before October 25, 2006. The contents and forms of the application materials can be downloaded from http:// China Machine Tool Industry Association website. Prior to November 25, 2006, each club submitted 1 copy of the company's application materials, electronic version and recommendations of the club to the Association's Industry Development Department.
