China's first 1.5 MW high-power wind turbine unit was successfully launched in Nantong Aerospace Wanyuan Anxun Energy Wind Power Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The wind turbine will be installed at the Zhangbei Guotou Wind Power Plant in Hebei. Previously, two prototypes assembled by the plant had been exported to South Korea.
It is reported that Nantong Aerospace Co., Ltd. is an energy cooperation project between the Chinese and Spanish governments. It is jointly invested by China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, affiliated to China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and Spanish Anxon Group and Yingsha Group. The project is committed to cooperation. Development of wind power and other renewable energy sources, with emphasis on the promotion of wheat straw power generation and biodiesel production.
