According to overseas media reports, Renault has recently entered into a partnership with The Mobility House (hereinafter referred to as TMH), and both companies have jointly tested the newly developed electric vehicle intelligent fast charging system in Germany, hoping to reduce charging costs and shorten charging with this system. time.

The test was carried out by 11 employees of Renault Germany (also a ZOE electric vehicle owner). The test project was mainly a household charging system developed by TMH, which consisted of a charging station specially designed for Renault.

In real life, communication links can be established between the charging station and the vehicle, and data such as grid-based electricity costs can be calculated, which will be fed back to TMH through the Renault Global Data Center.
When the charging station detects that the cost of electricity is the lowest (ie, the minimum demand for electricity), the system will complete the charging at the fastest speed; when the charging station detects the highest cost of electricity (ie, during the peak period of power consumption), the system stops. Charge the electric car.

The test results show that the intelligent fast charging system developed by TMH is a relatively successful solution. Thanks to the accuracy of the fast charge system to calculate the demand for electricity and the rationality of planning the charging, the time for the ZOE electric vehicle to complete the charging was reduced by one hour, and the cost of electricity for the owner was also significantly reduced.

At present, Renault and TMH are still in the first stage in the development of electric vehicle intelligent fast charging system. In the next stage, the two parties plan to return the electricity generated by the electric vehicle charging station to the power grid, or use solar panels to form a household storage. The system can complete the charging of the electric vehicle, thereby further optimizing the charging efficiency and the cost of electricity for the electric vehicle owner.
