Canada SOS Petroleum Tools Company successfully developed a continuous pump. This rodless pumping system is completely different from alternative pumping and can be used in the event of failure of conventional pumping equipment. This improved large-displacement continuous pump is anchored downhole and uses the hydraulic impact device to reciprocate the entire tubing string. It can first flush the entire production string with ground controls before pumping. The new pump allows the pump to maintain the highest yield and shortest downtime. At present, it has been successfully applied to heavy oil, high silt, dehydrated gas wells, low-flow large displacement wells, coal seam methane gas wells and serious sand production wells.
