Wooden floor electric geothermal membrane installation precautions

Taking the installation of electric heating film of our company, Claysco in Sweden as an example
!
caveat
CALESCO electric geothermal membrane uses 230V voltage, all installations must require experienced electrical installers to install,
All installation procedures must follow local national standards.
!
- The thermostats and insurance for electric geothermal membranes must meet their control and insurance standards.
- Wiring must be standard
- The wiring must meet the requirements of local national standards (eg: IEE wiring standard, 16th edition)
- All electric wires cannot touch electric film
- Electric heating membrane must be installed leakage protection device, the maximum off current of the switchboard is 30mA

Wood floor electric geothermal membrane installation general precautions general precautions
!
Please read the installation guide carefully before installation!
1. Calesco geothermal film must be installed in a dry place.
2. When installing the geothermal film, the room temperature should be greater than zero.
3. The leakage switch must be installed
4. Electrical geothermal film must be insulated with 5MM PE film
5. 0.2mm PE film is needed to insulate the edge of the electric geothermal film.
6. Do not install the electric heating film under the wardrobe, furniture, or the internal partition, otherwise it will cause overheating.
7. Do not use high-power lamps to irradiate electric geothermal membranes, and do not place electric geothermal membranes under other heat sources, such as stoves.
8. The minimum thickness of the ground insulation layer is 5mm, but its resistance cannot be higher than 0,17 kw/m2.
9. Do not cover any thick blankets or other insulating material on the circuit.
10. The temperature controller's sensor needs to be properly installed.
11. The maximum current per circuit is 5A.
12. If the total room area circuit current is greater than 10A, then a connection piece is required between each piece.
13. The temperature controller controls the room temperature. The sensor on the floor is the protective floor. The maximum allowable temperature exceeds 28 °C.
14. The connection of electric film requires double insulation.
!
For safety reasons, the wooden floor should be at least 5 mm thick
