In March this year, the relevant state departments have announced the list of the first 23 major demonstration projects of industrial recycling economy. The industry expects that by 2015, China's resource recycling industry scale may exceed trillions of yuan in output value.

The "Plan" also clearly puts forward two phases of development goals: By 2015, the use of advanced resource recycling technologies that have been reduced, reused, and resourced will be promoted, and the overall utilization rate of industrial solid wastes will reach over 72%. From the modern waste product recycling system, the recovery rate of waste products supported by advanced technologies is up to 70%, and the ability to recycle and recycle important resources is significantly improved; by 2020, a technology innovation system for recycling and resource-based industries will be formed to form a group of core products.
