1. The well diameter specified by the pump model refers to the straight tube well. When the depth of the well is more than 30 meters and the well pipe is cast iron pipe or cement pipe, the actual straight diameter should be 50 mm larger than the minimum diameter required by the pump.
2. The flow rate of the selected pump should not be greater than the normal water inflow of the well. Otherwise, the inhalation of a large amount of sediment will accelerate the wear of the pump and reduce the life of the well.
3. Determination of the number of pump stages:
The number of stages of the pump is determined by the required head and the required head can be estimated as follows:
H=(H1+H2+â–³h)*1.1
Where: H--the total head required; (m)
H1--the distance from the moving water level in the well to the pump outlet center; (m)
H2--Pump seat outlet pressure gauge multiplied by 10 or the vertical height of the pump seat outlet center to the water level of the tower; (m)
â–³h--the loss of the force in the riser pipe and the loss of the force of the water pipe after the outlet of the pump seat. (The negative force loss of the pipe is estimated to be 5-10%).
