China has rich reserves of low-grade, arsenic-containing carbon and complex symbiotic and difficult-to-handle gold ore resources, but at present, the development and utilization of such resources have high mining loss rates (10% to 30%) and high depletion rates (20% to 40%). ), Low overall recovery rate (below 50%), and the environmental impact of the smelting and smelting process.

Zijin Mining's low-grade gold and non-ferrous metal resource utilization technology is mature, and hydrometallurgy technology is in the leading position in the gold industry. The company has state-level technology centers and postdoctoral workstations. As of now, it has obtained 20 invention patents, 22 utility patents, and 20 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological achievement awards.

After the State Key Laboratory of Comprehensive Utilization of Low-grade Gold Resources has settled in Zijin Mining, it will rely on the company's scientific and technological advantages in biological pre-oxidation technology, refractory gold pre-oxidation technology, super-fine grinding technology, and flotation technology. , gold-containing mineral flotation chemicals, process mineralogy, comprehensive utilization of cyanide-containing arsenic-containing wastewater, comprehensive utilization of arsenic-containing waste slag, and simulation and optimization of the smelting and metallurgy process, and development of applied basic research, key technologies, and common technology research, development of green, Environmental protection and efficient metallurgical technology to solve outstanding problems in the development and utilization of low-grade and difficult-to-treat gold mines in China.
