From February 6th to 10th, the 2013 St. Petersburg International Jewelry Fair was held at the local Leningrad Exhibition Center. In order to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Russian Queen Catherine II's accession to the throne and the 400th anniversary of the establishment of the Romanov dynasty, the crown of the imitation became the focus of the exhibition. The crown was made according to the original product of Catherine II, but the material was changed from silver to platinum. The number of diamonds set from 4936 to 11,000 was completed by 60 jewelers in two months. From Ekaterina II until the last Russian emperor Nicholas II was crowned with this crown original.
