In the whole year, the total industrial output value of shipbuilding enterprises above designated size reached 790.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%, of which shipbuilding industry was 595.1 billion yuan, down 0.1% year-on-year; ship supporting industry was 113 billion yuan, up 15.1% year-on-year; ship repair industry 18.1 billion yuan, an increase of 11.6%; ship modification industry 31.7 billion yuan, an increase of 23.6%. In December, the output of domestic civilian steel vessels fell by 20.3% year-on-year, narrowing by 9 percentage points from the previous month. The year-on-year growth rate of output was down 13.4%, which was 1.6 percentage points lower than that in January-November.
