Before he inspected the market, he was very simple in positioning the company. He wanted to build a domestic first-class magnetic drill (magnetic drill) company. The power tool industry is very extensive, with over 10,000 kinds of product varieties, and magnetic drills are widely used in various engineering operations. The market cake is not large, and the technical threshold is high, large companies do not bother to enter, and there are no small technologies. Manufacturers can not do it again. However, in the eyes of Lu Chunmao, the high threshold also means high-tech content and the profit is considerable. In fact, at the time, magnetic drills imported from Germany were the cheapest, and they cost more than 1,000 yuan each. Lu Chunmao is confident that it can replace Germany's imports of products, the price is only one-fifth of German products.

In 2008, the spring breeze of Lu Chunmao took the product to the Canton Fair, but he suffered a blow. The rapid turmoil in the international financial crisis led directly to a 70% drop in orders. After consulting various experts from the Bureau of Science and Technology, he came to the conclusion: “Although it is not its own quality problem, it is only a temporary difficulty in the market. However, to solve this difficulty, we must further improve our quality, even if we have a machine. No production, but also improve quality, while strengthening innovation and introducing higher-tech products."

In that year, Lu Chunmao placed more time on "seeking wisdom" to experts from universities and colleges such as Hohai University and Zhejiang University. First of all, improve the appearance of the product design in order to win more product impression points. The British market favored black products. Lu Chunmao invited experts to design black exterior products; while the South American and Chilean markets preferred goose yellow, and he specifically made improvements to the market. At the same time, he led the technical backbone of the factory to carry out a comprehensive upgrade of Dr. special products, focusing on product miniaturization. After countless trials, Dr. Special finally reduced the weight of the new product from 28 kg to about 9 kg, and drilling capacity was also enhanced from 23 mm to 35 mm. Lu Chunmao immediately filed 12 patents for the new product, and priced the new product at around 3,000 yuan, nearly half the price of the same type of product from Germany and Japan.

Less than a year after the introduction of new products, the market began to recover. The quality of Dr. special products was praised by German counterparts. Even after the inspection, the German power tool brand company Gullou Co. gave up its cooperation with South Korea and signed an agreement with Dr. Dr. special license for its production. Since then, Dr. Special's OEM products have gradually become familiar to the South American and Australian markets.

Since the beginning of this year, many electric power tool companies in Zhejiang that have been affected by the European debt crisis have closed down. In Nantong, Jiangsu Province and other places, related companies have also closed down, while Dr. Teh instead started to recruit technical personnel and skilled workers. Compared with 2008, this time Lu Chunmao did not panic. “This crisis is actually forcing industrial upgrading.” Lu Chunmao said that the financial crisis in 2008 affected all export-oriented enterprises, and many export-oriented companies are striving to improve their skills. Dr. From export to domestic sales, Dr. Te's current export share is only 40%. "For us, the European debt crisis has not been greatly affected in markets such as the Americas, Australia, and Africa. Now recruiting these technical backbones and skilled workers will play an important role in our company's shake-up and replacement, and wait until the crisis has passed. Difficult to recruit, the start will be slower than others!"

At present, Lu Chunmao's new project with Hohai University is in full swing. Lu Chunmao disclosed that the new product adopts a reluctance motor with variable speed, with minimal noise, a 30% increase in power, no need for a gearbox, and a weight reduction of 20%. This is a domestic initiative.
