Balance valve adjustment principle

The balance valve belongs to the category of regulating valve. Its working principle is to change the flow resistance of the fluid flowing through the valve by changing the gap between the valve core and the valve seat (ie opening degree) to achieve the purpose of regulating the flow. The balancing valve is equivalent to a throttling element whose local resistance can be changed. For an incompressible fluid, the flow equation is available:

P2--post-valve pressure F--balance valve take-up area ρ--density of fluid

It can be seen from the above formula that when F is constant (that is, for a certain type of balancing valve), when the pressure drop P1-P2 of the valve is constant, the flow rate Q is only affected by the resistance of the balancing valve. ξ increase (valve off), Q decreases; conversely, ξ decreases (when the valve is open), Q increases. The balance valve is to change the resistance of the valve core to change the drag coefficient to achieve the purpose of regulating the flow.

Kv is the valve coefficient of the balancing valve. It is defined as the flow rate (m3/h) flowing through the balancing valve when the differential pressure of the balancing valve is 1 bar (about 1 kgf/cm2). The valve coefficient when the balance valve is fully open is equivalent to the flow capacity of the ordinary valve. If the opening of the balancing valve does not change, the valve coefficient Kv does not change, that is to say the valve coefficient Kv is determined by the opening degree. By measuring the valve coefficients at different opening degrees, the balancing valve can be used as a throttling element for quantitatively adjusting the flow rate.

When the pipe network is balanced and debugged, the pressure measuring small valve of the balanced valve to be commissioned is connected with a special intelligent instrument by a hose, and the meter can display the flow value (and the pressure drop value) flowing through the valve, and communicate with the instrument man-machine. After inputting the required flow value at the balance valve to the meter, the meter calculates, analyzes, and obtains the opening value of the valve when the pipeline system reaches the hydraulic balance.

Static balance valve use occasion

The static balance valve is complicated to operate, and it needs to be equipped with a smart meter when adjusting. Even if there is a professional technician's user traffic, it is difficult to make the user reach equilibrium. The square static balance valve that uses the valve KV value and the valve curve to determine the valve opening degree is a commonly used old hydraulic balance product, which is suitable for a system with a heat source as the main variable flow rate. When adjusting, the traffic between users is used together, and it is very difficult to adjust the balance of the huge hot users.
