China's gold production data for the first 10 months of this year

According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in October, the country’s gold production reached 34.6 tons, a decrease of 3.9 tons compared with September (38.5 tons).

From January to October, 322.8 tons were completed, an increase of 32 tons year-on-year, an increase of 11.01%. Among them, gold mining gold completed 271.2 tons, an increase of 11.50% over the same period of last year; non-ferrous gold production completed 51.6 tons, an increase of 8.51% over the same period of last year.

In October, the national gold industry realized a total industrial output value of 34.02 billion yuan. From January to October, the total value of industrial output of gold enterprises across the country reached 293.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34.15%.

In October, macroeconomic data such as US consumption and manufacturing generally favored, and international gold prices showed a downward trend. Affected by the gold price trend in the international market, the gold price in the domestic market also showed a downward trend.

The "Guidance on Promoting the Sustainable and Healthy Development of the Gold Industry" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in November pointed out that during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the average annual growth rate of domestic gold production will remain at 3-5%, and by 2015, gold production will reach 420 tons. Strive to achieve 450 tons. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, 1900-2100 tons of gold will be produced, which is more than 30% higher than the "Eleventh Five-Year" period.
