Drive the efficiency of the project to accelerate the progress of the project
On March 6, the construction site of the tungsten resource recycling project of Zhuzhou Cemented Carbide Group Co., Ltd. in Yanlong County Jiulong Industrial Zone was busy. “We have completed the ordering of most of the equipment and will immediately start the installation and commissioning of the equipment.” The project leader is confident.

The project is estimated to have a total investment of 81.1 million yuan. It is planned to build the largest and most advanced regenerative tungsten resource production research base in China, and gradually form an annual capacity of 3,000 tons of waste alloy. The project started construction in August 2007 and is expected to be completed and completed in 2010. In November last year, “Strain Hard” successfully passed the new investment plan of the central government through the Municipal Development and Reform Commission and other departments. On December 31 last year, the central government allocated 6.4 million yuan to the company's account, and its driving effect immediately appeared, and the project progressed.

At the same time, the “Strain Hard” coal-fired boiler energy-saving technical transformation project has also received a new investment of 1.7 million yuan from the central government to ensure the smooth completion of the steam chiller transformation. The project is a national resource conservation and environmental protection project. After implementation in 2010, it can save 13769 tons of standard coal per year, reduce 222.19 tons of sulfur dioxide and 116.82 tons of soot annually, and the pollutant reduction rate can reach more than 99%.

In addition, the technical transformation project of “Strain Hard” high-performance ultra-fine grained carbide production line passed the national review. Through the implementation of the project, the company can achieve the scale production of profile production and the overall improvement of quality, technology and efficiency, optimize product structure, and consolidate its leading position in the hard alloy industry.

CuW alloys are used where the combination of high heat resistance, high electrical and thermal conductivity, and low thermal expansion are needed. Some of the applications are in electric resistance welding, as electrical contacts, and as heat sinks. As contact material the alloy is resistant to erosion by electric arc. WCu alloys are also used in electrodes for electrical discharge machining and electrochemical machining.

Copper–tungsten (tungsten–copperCuW, or WCu) alloy is a pseudo-alloy of copper and tungsten. As copper and tungsten are not mutually soluble, the material is composed of distinct particles of one metal dispersed in a matrix of the other one. The microstructure is therefore rather a metal matrix composite instead of a true alloy.
